SERVICES
This is what medicine looks like when time and the right tests are actually on the table.
Rooted Health is cash-pay. Not because it is convenient, it is not always, but because the constraints that come with insurance make the kind of medicine I practice impossible.
A Note on Payment
You have probably already spent a lot of money going nowhere.
I understand that paying out of pocket feels like more. And for some people it genuinely is not accessible right now, and I respect that. But for a lot of people I talk to, the math works out differently than they expect.
When insurance is in the room, doctors are limited to basic labs and short appointments. Basic labs come back normal. You pay the copay, book a follow-up, and end up in the same place. Multiply that by years and the cost is real: in money, in time, and in what it takes out of you to keep showing up and getting nowhere.
I accept all major credit cards. I offer 10% off every service when you pay in cash. For basic lab work (thyroid, kidney, liver function, and more), I can order through your insurance so those costs may still be covered. The comprehensive functional labs that go deeper are not typically covered, and that is where the real answers tend to live.
Offerings
-
75 minutes. Lyndsay reads your full intake beforehand. The appointment goes deeper: connections you have not heard before, questions that have not been asked, and a walk-through of functional lab options that make sense for your picture.

Once labs are back, you and Lyndsay sit down together and go through everything. A real conversation about what the findings mean and what your next 3 to 4 months look like.

For ear infections, coughs, fevers, injuries, and other common acute conditions. Rather than simply suppressing symptoms, we look at what your body is communicating and support the healing process with the right combination of herbs, supplements, and medication when needed.

Most patients come back when life changes: a new stressor, a new season, something that shifts the picture. You do not have to maintain an ongoing relationship to keep getting care. You show up when you need to.
$275 for 60 min

This comprehensive visit goes beyond the traditional "well woman" exam to support your health through a whole-person lens. Depending on your needs, your visit may include a Pap smear, pelvic and breast exam, hormone and menstrual health discussions, and personalized preventive care recommendations. Together, we'll look beyond symptoms to better understand the interconnected factors influencing your health and create a plan that supports long-term wellness.
$200 for 45 mins
Common Questions
-
I do not bill insurance, and I want to be upfront about that. That is a clinical decision: insurance limits the time I can spend with you and the tests I can order. I accept all major cards and offer 10% off for cash payments. For basic lab work, I can order through your insurance so those costs may still be covered at the lab. The comprehensive functional labs are typically not covered, but those are where the most useful information tends to come from.
-
First appointments run 60 to 90 minutes. You will complete a 90+ question intake beforehand, and I read it before we meet, so we are not starting from scratch when you arrive.
-
No referral needed. You can book directly.

Comprehensive functional labs that go well beyond a standard panel: hormone levels, nutrient status, gut markers, inflammatory markers, thyroid antibodies, and more depending on what your picture calls for. I can also order basic labs for thyroid function, kidney and liver health, and more, and those can often run through your insurance at the lab. Most people have never had the functional labs run simply because insurance does not cover them, and that is often why they keep getting told everything is normal.
