EVENTS AND RETREATS

The medicine you read about is different from the medicine you feel.

Retreats and workshops give you enough time, the right environment, and the right people to actually experience what it means to feel well. That felt experience is what makes the changes stick.

Rooted in Winter

A One-Day Women's Retreat | December 5, 2026 | Bellingham, WA

An invitation to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with yourself during a season that so often pulls us in the opposite direction.

Just as nature moves through seasons of growth, release, and rest, our bodies have rhythms that deserve to be honored. Yet in a culture that celebrates constant productivity, we often lose touch with those natural cycles.

Rooted in Winter is an intimate, nourishing experience designed to bring you out of your mind and back into your body. Together, we'll explore the wisdom of the menstrual cycle, the importance of honoring seasonal rhythms, and practical ways to support hormonal health through nutrition, herbs, supplements, and intentional daily practices.

Throughout the day, you'll experience gentle intuitive movement, sauna, two beautiful organic meals, meaningful connection with other women, and space to simply be.

Co-hosted by a root-cause Family Nurse Practitioner, Lyndsay Smith, and a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Andrea Ashmore, this retreat blends whole-person health education with embodied practices that support a more grounded, connected way of living.

Come as you are. Leave feeling nourished, reconnected, and equipped with practices to carry into the winter season and beyond.

What a Retreat Looks Like

Chef-prepared clean food for the full duration. You experience what eating well actually feels like over several days.

Nervous system practice woven throughout each day, not as an add-on but as the foundation.

Community. Something happens when a small group of people who are all working on the same things spend real time together.

Education and tangible takeaways on the retreat theme, whether it be health, nervous system, or something else.

Who These Are For

Retreat attendees are a mix of current and past patients and people who have been following Lyndsay's work and are ready to experience it in person. No prior experience needed. Just a willingness to show up and try.

LIVE WEBINAR - Beyond Hormones: A Different Conversation About Perimenopause
$19.00

If you've spent any time reading or listening to conversations about perimenopause, you've probably noticed that much of the focus is on hormones—and especially hormone replacement therapy.

But there is another side of the conversation that deserves just as much attention.

Your hormones don't function independently. They are influenced by your nervous system, nutrition, blood sugar regulation, gut health, liver function, sleep, stress, movement, and environmental exposures. When these systems are struggling, your hormones often reflect it.

This educational webinar is designed to help you understand the bigger picture.

We'll explore how to recognize your body's patterns, understand what your menstrual cycle is communicating, and learn practical ways to support yourself throughout the month.

Topics include:

    •    Why your menstrual cycle is one of your body's greatest sources of health information.

    •    How to track your cycle to better understand changes in energy, mood, sleep, focus, and emotional resilience.

    •    Why the luteal phase often requires a different rhythm than other phases of the cycle.

    •    How to intentionally plan your work, social calendar, exercise, and recovery around your changing physiology.

    •    Why movement, nutrition, and supplementation may need to change throughout the month instead of staying the same every day.

    •    How your gut, liver, nervous system, metabolism, and other body systems influence hormone health.

    •    Why understanding hormone metabolism is an essential piece of the conversation.

This webinar is not intended to teach hormone replacement therapy. Instead, we'll focus on the foundational concepts that are often overlooked—helping you better understand your body, recognize its signals, and support it through perimenopause with greater confidence and intention.

Whether you're just beginning to notice changes or have been navigating perimenopause for years, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of your body and practical strategies you can begin using immediately.
